Call for Presentations - 2010 Conference

New Jersey NENA invites you to share your knowledge and expertise with our membership in a Professional Development session at our Annual Conference on April 20 & 21, 2010 at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ. The call for papers deadline is March 1, 2010.

Professional Development sessions educate attendees on topics regarding current and critical issues in the public-safety communications industry. Presentations should be focused on one of the following groups of personnel or topics:

bullet Front-line Operations Personnel
bullet First Line Supervision/Training Personnel
bullet 9-1-1 Administrative and Technical Issues
bullet Radio, Telephone, Computer Systems Technology
bullet Emerging Telephony and Radio Technologies Affecting Public-Safety Communications
bullet Legislative/Regulatory Issues
bullet General Interest topics for 9-1-1 professionals

Sessions will be limited to 45 minutes (with a minimum of 30 minutes) and may be repeated on both days if scheduling allows. Presentations must be informational and not specific to a vendor’s product or service. Presenters will be provided a full conference pass as well as breakfast and lunch each day. Presenters are not compensated for their time and expenses.
