Sandy started at Hunterdon County Communications in 1988 as a dispatcher. She became a Senior Operator in 1999 and became a member of NENA the same year. In 2005, Sandy was appointed NJ NENA Secretary. She held that position until 2008 when she was appointed NJ NENA Treasurer.

Sandy works steady midnights and is the Hunterdon County 9-1-1 Coordinator, a position she accepted in 2001.
