Bob has been a member of NJNENA since it's inception in 1994. Bob moved through the Vice President offices culminating as President in 2001. Bob has been an Emergency Number Professional (ENP) since the certification was established in 1995 and served as Commercial Vice President from 2006 to 2010. He is currently the chapter's webmaster.

Bob began his career in Public Safety in 1968 as a member of the Lambertville Youth Rescue Squad. Through the years he was one of the first certified EMT's and EMT Instructors in New Jersey, spent time as a police officer and is a Life Member of the Union Fire Company in Lambertville, NJ. He began his dispatching career working for the City of Lambertville part time in 1974. Bob worked his way through the ranks to become Director of Emergency Services for Hunterdon County. Bob was appointed to the New Jersey 9-1-1 Commission in 1994 and served until 2004 when he retired from Hunterdon County after 28 years of service. He is now a Senior Consultant with Essential Management Solutions.
